This is a great, basic toner if you’re just getting started with the idea of a toner. It’s a great value for your money and will last quite awhile. This Thayers toner is also fragrance-free and contains witch hazel, which is an anti-inflammatory.
I tried this toner years ago and I always seem to come back to it. It smells incredible and does a great job of rebalancing my skin’s pH levels. I’ve read that it now comes in a spray package instead of the bottle.
Cleansers & Scrubs:
I found out about this product from an esthetician in New York City who gave me a facial prior to my wedding. She says that oily, acne-prone skin should be using an oil cleanser in order to pull existing oil out of your skin. I really like it and find that it does an amazing job of removing makeup without stripping.
This cleanser is simple, gentle and great for someone looking for a place to start when it comes to trying clean skincare products for the first time! This cleanser is a gel that then foams but it doesn’t strip the skin. It’s formulated for teens but I enjoyed using it as, well, not a teen.
This is my #1 go-to facial scrub. It works SO well to remove dead skin cells and my skin always feels incredibly soft afterward. I’m tempted to use this everyday but I find it’s too drying for that. Every few days is what I’ve found to work best.
I am OBSESSED with these serums! They smell absolutely incredible. I’m liking the Lapis serum best so far; it seems to calm my acne-prone skin nicely and it doesn’t make me break out. I use Phoenix at night and use Orchid on my neck as it contains coconut oil and is too clogging for my face. HIGHLY recommend this intro set!
This is a great introduction to serums if you’ve never used one before. It smells amazing and is very hydrating. I like this one for nighttime use.
I first learned about this serum from the aesthetician who gave me a facial before my wedding. She recommended this serum to rebalance skin, and she particularly finds it great for acne-prone skin. I’m enjoying it so far!
This product was my first introduction to oils and serums. It’s extremely moisturizing and has one ingredient: argan oil. I used this as a moisturizer for years, and always keep some on hand. I love buying the minis of this and keeping it my travel bag to hydrate my skin on airplanes.
I love this brand! They use ingredients picked from a farm in Vermont, and I trust that they’re not trying to sneak in filler junk ingredients. This moisturizer isn’t cheap, but it doesn’t make me break out, which is priceless. Plus, it comes in a lovely glass bottle — way better than plastic any day.
I purchased this moisturizer to use at night but it was too thick for me, so I ended up using it as an eye cream. Makeup went on smoothly over this product and it lasted FOREVER.
